As a Virginia and Beyond Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer, I look forward to the opportunity to capture your beautiful moments.
I studied photography and learned the science behind the art in both High School and College. Back then everything was film, I still have my film camera and take it out every once in a while. I would snap some pictures of nature and of friends but 'le sigh' life took hold. I got married, a full time job and became a full time mommy. I am proud to say that I am a wife and mother of 3 beautiful, yet....spunky...little humans.
A few years ago my husband bought me my first dslr, and it was almost like riding a bike. Well....from riding a bike to hopping on a motorcycle. I took my time, worked with some awesome mentors, took updated camera courses, editing software courses, and then decided to start something that I truly love and truly enjoy. During my down time I take advantage of further education. I feel as though continuing to learn new or updated techniques can only be portrayed beautifully to my clients. I look forward to many more years, and sharing my passion with other people.
I work with an awesome team of professionals as well. I find that opting for the associate photographer is always a good choice. Time is split, and more memories are captured. I could be doing the formal shots of the bridesmaids, but my associate caught a sweet candid moment behind me of the bride and groom. I make sure that the photographers that I choose are professionals. Here are some of the people that I commonly work with!
"I am a natural light photographer specializing in wedding and events. I am based out of Fredericksburg Virginia but love any opportunity to travel! I am a wife, a mother, an animal lover, and a hopeless romantic! It's this amazing life that inspires my creativity and fires my enthusiasm in my photography work. This path has provided me the privilege of meeting so many new people I now call friends. I'm humbled and extremely grateful for the opportunity to capture others' most precious moments and happiest days! "

"My relationship with photography has always been a strong one. In my 20's I really understood the importance of making memories last. You can never have too many memories. It is so important to capture memories because these images stay with you for more than a life-time. Photographs tell a story by a single expression on a face or the colors of the image. When I look through the viewfinder of my camera I see an unlimited amount of opportunity and the end result is nothing short of breathtaking. "
